schwinn city bike, new tires/tubes for sale in Emigrant, Montana

$50

So the previous occupant of my home left this sweet machine, but not before running over it with some sort of heavy industrial implement.

Fortunately for it, and you, an unemployed bike mechanic with nothing better to do was able to save it.

Using such precision tools as the C-clamp, sledge hammer and steel rod, I was able to get it back to ridability.

Currently, it works great and is very comfortable and efficient - I've tested it out on a rocky field and the shifters, brakes, et cetera do their jobs.

Yes there are blemishes all over it, if you care.

The size fits me comfortably at 5'10".

It has 21 speeds.

Basically what you'd be paying for is brand new 26" tires and tubes.

The are the fat type with a smooth surface in the middle and some treads on the sides.

They are perfect for city and trail riding, handling bumpy roads and gravel quite well while not slowing you down on pavement.

If you want to take the tires off and use the rest for abstract art, go for it.

But these are nice tires.

Also note the suspension stem and seat post as pictured - both absorb shock nicely but don't make the bike terribly heavy.

The seat, as wonderfully duct-taped as it is, could use some sort of fabric cover - it's comfortable and solid but the tape is bound to wear off quickly.

If you're interested but not willing to drive down here for it, I can haul it up to Bozeman or Livingston later this week when running my errands.
